I have lived in beautiful Dorset all my life, mainly in the beautiful West Dorset town of Beaminster, only six miles from the historic Jurassic coastline.

After having a life long interest in photography and with a little more time on my hands with both my grown up children at Uni, I decided the time was right to fulfil my ambitions.  I immersed myself in all things photography and have studied extensively with award winning professionals in both studio and outdoor portraiture photography and also in fine art landscape photography, along with further training in professional fine art printing.  Please take a look at my shop for the latest prints on offer.

And now I have converted a barn into my studio and JB Studios was launched for my Portraiture Photography and Fine Art printing.

My aim is to capture those precious moments in time for my clients & their families to treasure for years to come.

Those unposed, natural little moments are what I love to capture.  I take much pride in providing a calm, relaxed environment for my clients and no session is rushed.

As mentioned, I offer handcrafted prints on professional grade 300 gsm cotton paper in cotton matt or fine gloss finishes which are all printed on a 12 Inkjet Canon Pro printer, providing high quality, archival photographs often unavailable on the high street.

As an artist, this quality of the final product is very important to me and loved by my clients.
